Description
With over 35 years in business, we have built a reputation for referring highly qualified professionals for rewarding short and long-term contract opportunities.Our Client is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide services at a school district in the Dekalb County area for the 2026-2027 school year.
CLIENT'S HOURS
*Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:00pm depending on grade level.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services with students with autism spectrum disorder and/or other neuropsychiatric/developmental disorders, under the direction of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assigned to the classroom.
*Apply techniques through individual and/or group sessions designed to meet the educational needs of the student, consistent with the goals contained in the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP).
*Closely observe student behaviors, reliably collect data, and graph data to regularly evaluate the effectiveness of a student's current programming.
*Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and implement classroom-based activities.
*Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to develop students' daily programming and IEPs.
*Performs any other duties consistent with the functions for which qualified, as assigned by an appropriate supervisor.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE* High School Diploma.
* Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.
