One of our clients is seeking a Dedicated Aide to support K-12 students in the Washington, DC area.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a compassionate and student-centered Dedicated Aide to work 1on1 with students with disabilities in achieving their academic, behavioral, social, and developmental goals.The SPED Teacher will collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to create inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments that foster academic achievement, independence, communication, self-advocacy, and functional life skills.

*Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodations.
*Support students with disabilities in achieving academic, behavioral, and developmental goals.
*Collaborate with teachers and support staff to modify instructional materials and learning activities as needed.
*Implement classroom behavior management strategies and positive behavior interventions.
*Support students in developing social skills, communication skills, self-regulation, and positive peer relationships.
*Help maintain a structured, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and student success.
*Provide assistance with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities when required.
*Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, specialists, and support personnel to meet student needs.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma or GED (Required)
* Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children (SPED Experience Preferred)
* Ability to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to pass required background clearances
