CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS/ROLE TYPE
Part Time | Therapy Only | Caseload: 75 students | Report to SLP on campus
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth through evidence-based interventions. The SLPA works under the supervision of the on-campus SLP, collaborates with teachers and families as needed, delivers direct therapy services, and uses Esped for documentation.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree or higher in SpeechLanguage Pathology Assisting (accredited program)
- Valid Texas SLPA license
- 12 years of schoolbased experience preferred
- Skilled in implementing therapy plans (individual and group) under SLP supervision
- Knowledge of evidencebased therapy techniques and progress monitoring
