SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluations and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders at an elementary school in the Lancaster area. The SLP will support students' academic, social, and emotional growth through evidence-based interventions, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include contributing to IEP development, monitoring progress, and delivering direct therapy services for a caseload of approximately 65 students. The position uses ESPed for documentation, reports to the Lead SLP and Director of Special Education. Immediate start is available.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology (accredited program).
- Valid Texas SLP license; CCCSLP (ASHA) preferred.
- State SLP Licensure (Texas License required)
- 12 years of schoolbased experience preferred.
- Skilled in evaluations, IEPs, therapy planning, and progress monitoring.
- Develop and deliver therapy plans (individual and group) using evidencebased practices.
