SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S POSITION:
The client is seeking a qualified Middle School Special Education Teacher (LBS1) to support students in Language Arts and Math. The teacher will provide specialized instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
This role does not include case management, but the teacher will be responsible for writing and implementing IEP goals, participating in IEP meetings, and facilitating required training.

Position is located in Broadview, IL

DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide specialized instruction to middle school students in Language Arts and Math in accordance with IEP goals
* Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and instructional plans (no case management responsibilities)
* Differentiate instruction to meet the academic and behavioral needs of students with disabilities
* Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student progress and compliance requirements
* Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators
* Implement classroom management strategies that promote a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
