Description
Join our team as a Special Education Teacher in a 7th grade cross-categorical, push-in co-teaching role in Greendale, WI. Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with disabilities!Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM - 3:10 PM
Pay Rate: $35/hour, paid weekly
Key Duties:
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that cater to students' academic and developmental needs.
- Work alongside general education teachers to adapt curriculum and teaching approaches.
- Monitor student progress and provide tailored support to foster both academic success and social growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school personnel to track student development.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages all students to thrive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
- At least one year of experience working with students with disabilities.
- Indepth knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
