Description
Join our team to provide quality support for special education students in Middle school and High school.The Special Education Teacher will deliver specialized instruction and support while creating a positive, nurturing environment that encourages both academic and social growth for students with diverse abilities.
Pay: $48/hr paid weekly
*The High School Special EducationTeacher opportunity is 11am-4pm Monday thru Friday
*The Middle School Special EducationTeacher is also part time but they School is flexible on the timing during the day. covers 4 periods.
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Valid MN state teaching certificate (Special Ed preferred)
- 1+ year teaching experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each student's needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive learning
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records in line with educational standards
