CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS/ROLE TYPE
Part-Time Role | Earn Up to $77 - $80hr plus
School-Based (2 schools within an 11-mile radius)

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Physical Therapist (PT) provides specialized services to support students' motor development, mobility, and participation in the educational setting. The PT evaluates student needs, develops individualized intervention plans, and collaborates with staff and families to ensure students can access the curriculum and school environment in compliance with state and federal regulations.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas
• Evaluate students using district approved evaluation instruments and complete an evaluation report following district guidelines.
• Provide physical therapy services to individuals students; consult with teachers, staff and parents on classroom interventions and techniques.
• Attend ARD/IEP meetings and complete ARD/IEP documentation in the district approved webbased ARD/IEP program
• Maintain accurate and complete data of services provided and student progress as required by the district. Follow guidelines for documentation and reporting of services for the basis of Medicaid reimbursement through the School Health and Related Services program. (SHARS)
• Maintain the duty hours of the assignment as determined by the department.
