SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Our client is seeking Paraprofessionals to support students in both elementary and middle school settings. The role involves assisting teachers in the classroom, supervising students, and providing support to those with varying academic and behavioral needs. Paraprofessionals will work collaboratively with the educational team to help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

CLIENT'S LOCATION
Schools are located in the Dolton and Calumet City areas.

DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Helping teachers with lessons and classroom activities.
*Working with students one-on-one or in small groups.
*Watching and supporting students in the classroom, lunchroom, hallways, and playground.
*Assisting students with special needs, including academic or behavioral support.
*Encouraging positive behavior and a friendly learning environment.
*Following directions from teachers and school staff.
*Keeping all student information private and handling situations with care and respect.


CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Experience working with children with a wide range of abilities - especially in special education settings
* Illinois paraprofessional license (Educator License with Stipulations: PARA) or a substitute license.
*Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
