b>Our Client is seeking a Early Head Start Teacher in the Detroit area to plan and implement a program of educational activities for infants and toddlers that encourages age appropriate growth and development in a variety of areas.

CLIENT'S HOURS & HOURLY RATE
Compensation is dependent on Contractor's experience, education, availability, and skills.
* Monday - Friday (during school hours)


SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Responsible for ensuring that daily activities and interactions reflect the mission and goals of the program
* Evaluate the accomplishments of the children on a regular basis and reports progress
* Assist in ensuring that all health and developmental screenings are up-to-date
* Must be willing to "fill in" where needed.
* Work cooperatively with instructional, support staff and administrative staff.
* Plan assignments and participate in the performance review of the assistant teacher


CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or Elementary Education with a ZA (or Early Childhood) endorsement required
* Previous professional experience working with infants and toddlers
* Reliable transportation
