Delta-T Group has been in business for over 35 years, and connects professionals with client opportunities within the special education, social service, behavioral health, and disability sectors.We are looking to add DSPs (Direct Support Professionals) in the Atlanta and surrounding areas to a pool of openings for our clients.
CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
*Varying schedule
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility.
*Health and Safety: Monitoring physical/mental health, administering medication, following care plans, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.
*Daily Living Assistance: Cooking meals, performing laundry, light housekeeping, and grocery shopping.
*Community Engagement: Transporting to appointments, supporting community integration, and facilitating social activities and hobbies.
*Skill Development & Advocacy: Teaching self-care, building vocational skills, and helping individuals articulate their needs and make choices.
*Documentation: Keeping detailed records of services, progress, and behavioral changes.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma or GED
*Professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, challenging behaviors, and/or mental illness
* Active GA driver's license
